This is a short video i made with a solution which worked for me while my mouse was not functioning properly or functioning at all. All you gotta do is change the affinity of the gta_sa.exe
Silent Aug 4, 2016 @ 2:42am. Without downgrading and installing GInput, you should be able to do so by setting Controller Mode to Joypad in Controls Setup - but then, the mouse becomes unusable. As far as I'm aware, there is no win-win solution w/out GInput, unless you go back and forth to the menus every time you want to switch from controller
The last thing you should do is check if the problem is solved, to do that just launch GTA San Andreas and check if you can move the mouse. In turn, to avoid other errors both in games and on the computer, it is recommended to use Clean Master on the PC to optimize the system, which can help with the performance of the computer.
Usually gets it to work. 1. [deleted] • 11 yr. ago. Okay, what you've got to do to get the mouse working is launch the game, hit CTl-ALT-DELETE, open task manager, go to the processes tab, find GTASA.exe and right click on it, choose set affinity and set it to CPU 0 only. I guess San Andreas was never meant to run on a multi-core processor. 3.
I do and I notice, even when I'm not in the game but in normal usage, that sometimes it'll drift of it's own accord when I'm not touching the mouse. If it does that in the game it'll be the same as moving the mouse, which will rotate the camera. For Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Mouse problem".
San andreas is being a real pain for me. I got my mouse to work on GTA3 and Vice City using the 3/VC reborn patches. However, the san adreas reborn patch causes the game not to launch; it will sit in processes for just a few seconds and then disappear. I tried all of the compatibilities from wind
Open the GTA San Andreas User Files folder, and delete gta_sa.set. By default, this folder is in your documents. If this solution didn't help, or the GTA San Andreas User Files folder isn't in your documents, check the following directory instead: C:\Users\Public\Public Documents. After deleting this file, your game should work.
Then use up arrow to dive, down arrow to fly higher and left and right arrows to steer. Don't use the mouse, but if you need a better camera angle hold right-click and move the mouse. Also, with the RC-plane mission, it's not really necessary to accelerate much unless you're on the ground. Just use the down arrow to keep you flying high.
Im trying to think of a way to explain it, but it seems its quite a challenge. I mean the problem with the frame limiter, by using silentpatch on the downgraded GTA:SA, and having Frame Limiter on.
Lets say, you turn a corner, 90 degrees, and drive straight on, the camera will auto center after about 4-5 seconds. It auto centers, but its just SO SLOW. All that needs to be done, is to speed up the auto center, so it was just like in GTA3, VC and SA.
