Click on the option to add a new device. Your computer should start scanning for nearby devices. When your wireless keyboard appears in the list, select it and click on the “Pair” or “Connect” button. Enter the Passcode: Some wireless keyboards may require a passcode or PIN for the initial pairing.

In the C:\Windows\Drivers\EXE screen, double-click PAIRING_TOOL, and then click Pairing. When the Start Pairing message appears, press and hold the CTRL+Esc key combination, and then move the keyboard power switch to the On position. Press the Connect button on the keyboard: While still holding the Connect button on the USB receiver, locate the Connect button on your Logitech K400 keyboard. Press and hold it for a few seconds as well. Wait for the pairing process: Release both buttons and wait for the pairing process to complete.

The USB receiver plugs into the USB port on your computer, and the keyboard and mouse plug into the USB receiver. To pair the keyboard with the USB receiver, hold down the Connect/Pair button on the back of the keyboard until the LED lights start flashing. Then, press the Connect/Pair button on the USB receiver.
